Brittany & Andrew

Brittany and Andrew are getting married in May. They are such a fun couple. Brittany used to babysit my girls when we lived in Kaysville, she was their favorite babysitter. She also shares the same birthday as my oldest daughter. It was so much fun to see her again. Thanks so much you two, for letting me be a small part of this wonderful time in your lives! =)

The picture below is my favorite, just them goofing around. They are so much fun and SO cute together. It made me happy to see them laugh and play together. One of the things I love most about what I do is getting to share special moments in the lives of people that mean a lot to me.

Cute as a Button.

This little cutie is my niece Rylee Kate. She is just about the sweetest thing ever! At first I was a little chagrined that she wouldn't go to sleep, but we prevailed. She wasn't to thrilled with the whole getting her picture taken thing. In the end I am so glad that we have pictures of her awake too. We weren't able to get her to do the fun squishy newborn images. She was just a little too alert and perhaps a bit too old for those, but we got some fun pictures anyway. Love you little girl!

Frolic'n the Frock

Not many people have heard about a "Trash the Dress" photography session, at least not in Utah. Most people are also a little horrified when I explain what it is. Basically, after the wedding Brides have another photo session wearing their wedding gown and doing all sorts of things. Some literally trash their dress. Water, mud, you name it. With this session I wanted to "play" more than trash. I love doing Bridals, but sometimes it can be frustrating to get fun images when we're so afraid of getting the dress dirty. This was such a great session. We wanted to do another "grungier" location after the one here but we were fenced out. Scaling the fences was tempting but Mysti could never have made it in her dress. =) Haha, now I'm picturing that . . . lol!
